Create Your Own Piece of Brač

Become a stonemason for a day on Brač and discover a hands-on stone carving experience that puts traditional craftsmanship directly into your hands. Guided by a female Master Stonemason, you’ll learn to use traditional tools, shape authentic Brač stone, and create your own unique stone masterpiece to take home. No previous experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to try something that has shaped the island for centuries.

This is not a demonstration — it’s a hands-on experience. You’ll learn the basics of stone carving, work at your own pace and take your finished stone relief home with you.

This is not a demonstration — you become part of the craft. During this authentic stone carving experience on Brač, you’ll work with a real piece of Brač limestone and traditional hand tools, learning the basic techniques directly from a female Master Stonemason in her working workshop.

Over approximately two hours, your piece will gradually take shape under your own hands. You don’t need any previous experience or artistic skills. Every participant works at their own pace, with individual guidance throughout the process.

At the end, your handmade stone piece is yours to take home, together with a personalized certificate marking your experience as a Stonemason for a Day.
